Lisa Sydney (she/her) helps people navigate turning points and stale points in their academic, personal, and professional lives with clarity, confidence, and compassion. She works with late adolescents, college students, and adults to build skills, overcome obstacles, and create pathways toward their goals. Rooted in antiracist, queer-affirming, and neurodiversity-affirming values, Lisa ensures her coaching is inclusive, welcoming, and deeply respectful of each client’s unique background and experiences.
Lisa partners with clients to address academic challenges, strengthen executive functioning skills, and develop practical systems for organization, time management, and follow-through. She enjoys working with adults, but really loves to support women and mothers to increase personal well-being and to find balance between their careers, children, and relationships of all kinds. Lisa also has a great deal of experience assisting high school and college aged clients to navigate independence, social connections, and new responsibilities.
Her coaching is highly personalized and strengths-based. She takes the time to learn each client’s preferred ways of thinking and working- whether they respond best to visual tools, hands-on activities, structured plans, or reflective conversations- and tailors her approach accordingly. Her goal is to help clients develop realistic, sustainable strategies they can carry forward with confidence. Known for her empathy, humor, and judgment-free presence, Lisa creates a space where clients feel comfortable experimenting with new approaches, confronting barriers, and celebrating wins. Her work blends skill-building, encouragement, accountability, and an understanding of how mindset and self-belief impact success.
Lisa holds a Master of Social Work from the University of Pennsylvania and a BA in Psychology from Dickinson College, and is a Licensed Social Worker in Pennsylvania. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her family and cat, traveling, and expanding her collection of plants.
