Minecraft Social Skills Group for Kids with ADHD (Ages 8–11)Fall 2025 Cohort | Tuesdays | VirtualDoes your child have trouble connecting with peers, adjusting to change, or managing frustration when things don’t go their way?
This virtual social skills group is designed for neurodivergent children—including those with ADHD, AuDHD, or Autism—who may struggle with rigid thinking, emotional regulation, or social problem-solving. Many children in our group have difficulty compromising during play, become upset if others don’t follow their ideas, or isolate when they feel misunderstood.
Through weekly sessions on Google Meet, paired with gameplay in a private Minecraft Bedrock Realm, participants practice key social-emotional skills in real time. This approach is ideal for kids who learn best by doing—not just talking.
Kids often join this group if they:
Get frustrated when friends or family don’t follow their plans
Have difficulty adjusting or compromising during play
Withdraw or isolate when things feel overwhelming
Interrupt or speak impulsively in conversations
Meltdown if they struggle with a new skill
Retaliate
Want friendships but struggle to maintain them
Key Skills We Build:
Emotional regulation and frustration tolerance
Flexible thinking and compromise
Impulse control and self-awareness
Cooperative play and teamwork
Verbal and nonverbal communication
Social perspective-taking
