Sarah’s mission is for her clients to feel heard, understood, and energized. She will partner with you to build your signature toolbox for nutrition success. She knows that every person is unique with rich culture, family traditions, and food preferences. There’s no one-size-fits-all here!
Sarah understands nutrition can feel overwhelming with social media, the news, and family and friends giving you various information. She is here to breakdown your biggest and smallest questions to help build a solid nutrition foundation and block out the noise of diet-culture and unwanted comments from peers.
Clients will have the tools to understand their labs, how to approach a healthcare provider to ask for what you need, choosing supplements (as needed), building satisfying meals, meal planning, and deciphering their own hunger cues.
Her specialty is helping clients overcome the meal-time decision fatigue. As a fellow-ADHD human, Sarah works with you to design a formula that works for you to stay well-fed while minimizing the number of admin tasks. She will work to uncover your struggles with consistent meals, identify your hunger cues, and unpack disordered eating patterns and improve your body image with positive self-talk techniques. As a life-long athlete and collegiate rower, Sarah is suited to help you fuel for performance, whether that be running marathons, weight lifting, attending your favorite group fitness class, or playing tennis. She will give you the tools so you can hit new heights with a realistic, non-restrictive approach to nourishing your body and finding a routine that works for your brain.
Sarah has extensive experience with heart healthy eating for those with high cholesterol and high blood pressure. She also works with clients going through menopause, pregnancy, PCOS, prediabetes, and diabetes.
Sarah is a second career registered dietitian finding her way into the nutrition field via an unconventional path. She graduated with her masters in Human Nutrition from Drexel University in her hometown of Philadelphia and completed her supervised practice in Richmond at Virginia Commonwealth University Health System and the Richmond Veteran’s Affair Medical Center. She quickly returned to Philadelphia to start her career as a registered dietitian. She looks forward to impacting the lives of all of her clients!
When she’s not working with clients, Sarah enjoys traveling the world, taking walks with friends and getting ice cream, making mosaic art, spending time at the beach, and staying active at the gym or in the pool. She’s an advocate for sustainable food systems and shopping in a way that minimizes costs and waste.
